PRN Position | Starting Rate: $58–$63+/hour
Moraga Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Position Responsibilities
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs and physician orders.
Provide skilled occupational therapy services focused on improving independence with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations.
Work closely with physicians, nursing staff, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and optimize outcomes.
Participate in care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning.
Educate residents and caregivers on treatment goals, home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, safety awareness, and fall prevention.
Recommend adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME) to support resident independence and successful transitions.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications
Current California Occupational Therapist (OTR) License required.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
