About this Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care role at Liquid Personnel
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for its client for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Social Care Equipment & Adaptations Team at Wirral Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT with strong community/social care experience, supporting adults to remain safe and independent in their own homes.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Adult Social Care – Equipment & Adaptations
- Assessments under the Care Act
- Specialist equipment provision
- Major adaptations / Disabled Facilities Grants
- Complex moving & handling and seating assessments
- Risk management and safeguarding
- Supporting adults with complex and progressive conditions
- Working with residents, families, carers and multi-agency partners
- Promoting independence and reducing the need for formal care
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff, students and newly qualified OTs

Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a relevant Occupational Therapy degree
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience
- Community or social care experience essential
- Experience within a Local Authority desirable
- Ability to travel across the borough required
