The Opportunity

As the Nutrition Account Specialist, you will assure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in the assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of medical and nutritional science, as well as the evolving healthcare landscape.
  • Carry out sales calls and customer engagement plans effectively to generate demand for Abbott nutrition products.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions to doctors, nurses and dieticians in the assigned sales territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and business opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Drive growth and market share in targeted accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with Abbott’s policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in related industries such as Nutrition, FMCG, or Pharmaceuticals is preferred.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage territory effectively.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
