This exciting opportunity is based in a state-of-the-art medical office building adjacent to the new Riverside Smithfield Hospital, opening in January 2026.

This position is primarily outpatient, with some inpatient coverage responsibilities, and is part of Riverside’s expanding Comprehensive Neuroscience Program, which serves multiple regions including Williamsburg, Middle Peninsula, Peninsula, Eastern Shore—and now Smithfield.

• ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease)

• Alzheimer’s disease & dementia
• Degenerative diseases
• Peripheral nerve disorders
• Genetic conditions (e.g., Huntington’s disease, muscular dystrophy)

✅ Qualifications

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)

Licensure & Certification:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
• Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Valid DEA registration
