About this NAND Strategist role at Everpure
Everpure (NYSE: P) has evolved from storage pioneer to data platform, closing fiscal 2026 with $3.7 billion in revenue, its first billion-dollar quarter, and accelerating growth into FY27. Our strategic agenda spans the companies defining the next era of technology - hyperscalers, AI labs, the AI hardware supply chain, data platform providers, and the broader AI ecosystem.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
Step into a highly strategic Director-level role as the company’s NAND Industry Subject Matter Expert. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a deep, forward-looking view of the NAND industry and using that expertise to help shape the company’s five-year NAND strategy.
Working closely with our Sourcing organization and Business Units, you will connect external NAND industry dynamics with our product, technology, supply, cost, and growth requirements. Your perspective will help determine where the industry is heading, how supplier strategies are evolving, and what actions we should take today to secure the right technology, capacity, cost position, and supply resiliency over the next five years.
This role requires someone who has deep credibility in the NAND industry and can serve as the go-to expert for senior leadership on NAND technology, suppliers, economics, capacity, and market dynamics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as the company’s NAND industry subject matter expert, providing a deep and differentiated perspective on NAND technology, suppliers, industry economics, supply/demand, capacity, pricing, and competitive dynamics.
- Help develop the five-year NAND strategy in partnership with Sourcing and the Business Units, translating industry trends and supplier roadmaps into long-term technology, capacity, sourcing, and product strategies.
- Develop a forward-looking view of the NAND industry, including technology transitions, wafer and bit capacity, layer scaling, TLC/QLC adoption, cost curves, supplier investment plans, industry consolidation, and major changes in supply and demand.
- Assess NAND suppliers and their strategic direction, including technology roadmaps, manufacturing capabilities, capacity expansion, investment priorities, financial position, customer allocation strategies, and competitive behavior.
- Partner with Sourcing to inform long-term supplier strategy, including supplier selection, diversification, capacity commitments, strategic relationships, commercial models, and negotiation strategy.
- Partner with Business Units and Product Management to understand long-range product requirements and ensure the five-year NAND strategy aligns with anticipated customer demand, product roadmaps, performance requirements, and business growth.
- Build market and scenario models to evaluate alternative industry and business outcomes, including changes in supply, demand, technology, pricing, capacity, and supplier behavior.
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks early, providing senior leadership with a clear view of structural changes in the NAND industry and their potential impact on the business.
- Provide executive-level insight and recommendations, distilling complex industry information into a clear view of what matters, what is changing, and what strategic actions should be considered.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Expert-level knowledge of the NAND flash memory industry with a deep understanding of the major suppliers, technologies, manufacturing economics, capacity, technology roadmaps, and competitive landscape.
- Strong understanding of NAND industry economics, including wafer capacity, bit growth, technology transitions, cost structures, utilization, supply/demand cycles, pricing dynamics, and supplier investment decisions.
- Deep knowledge of the major NAND suppliers, including their technology roadmaps, manufacturing strategies, capacity plans, financial drivers, and strategic priorities.
- Ability to see around corners—connecting technology, supplier, market, geopolitical, and economic trends to anticipate how the NAND industry may evolve over a five-year horizon.
- Strategic thinking and analytical rigor, with the ability to build market models, evaluate scenarios, challenge assumptions, and translate industry intelligence into strategic implications.
- Strong cross-functional influence, with experience working across Sourcing, Business Units, Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to develop and align long-range strategies.
- Executive communication skills, with the ability to explain highly complex NAND industry dynamics clearly and credibly to senior leadership.
- Established industry network and external perspective across NAND suppliers, semiconductor companies, technology partners, analysts, and other industry participants.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in NAND, semiconductors, storage, or a closely related technology industry. Direct NAND industry experience is strongly preferred.
