The Multimedia Project Coordinator, under general supervision, coordinates and directs the details of multiple multimedia related projects.

Responsibilities:

· Meets with customers to determine multimedia project needs and requirements.

· Determines project timelines and sets project deadlines.

· Develops, creates and integrates videos and photos into online and social media.

· Creates, produces, shoots and edits digital media content.

· Provides consulting and support on multimedia projects.

· Updates and edits produced multimedia pieces.

· Maintains image repository.

· Archives raw and master materials.

· Collects and analyzes data for presentations.

· May supervise assigned staff.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Three years of related multimedia experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.

· Knowledge of imaging files. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

· Ability to create original artwork in various imaging files formats.

Starting salary for this position is $4166.67/month and is negotiable depending on education and experience.

Setting: Texas A&M University-Victoria is the most recent addition to the Texas A&M University System. The University was founded in 1973 as part of the University of Houston System and was transferred to the Texas A&M University System during the 89th Texas Legislative Session. A&M-Victoria is the only four-year university in a 100-mile radius and is just 30 miles from the Texas Gulf Coast. The University is a Hispanic-Serving Institution located in the Coastal Bend region of Texas. The Jaguars are part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and the baseball, softball and soccer teams compete in the Red River Athletic Conference.
