Introduction
GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced Member of Technical Staff to join our IP Engineering organization in Eindhoven. In this role, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-performance compute processor IP products. The position combines strong technical expertise with hands-on engineering responsibility. You will work with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to support the development, verification, and delivery of high-quality products. You will also contribute to engineering methodologies, technical reviews, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Your Job
In this role, you will:
Contribute to processor and compute IP development activities from concept through implementation, verification, signoff, and product delivery.
Apply technical expertise across architecture analysis, microarchitecture development, RTL design, implementation, functional verification, validation, and signoff activities.
Create and review technical specifications, verification plans, engineering documentation, and quality-related deliverables.
Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to support product development, technology roadmaps, and methodology improvements.
Support engineering quality, process improvements, automation initiatives, and technical risk identification.
Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges while sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
At least 6 years of experience in digital IC or IP development, including digital front-end design, RTL implementation, verification, validation, or computational IP development.
Strong understanding of processor, memory, and system architectures.
Hands-on experience in one or more areas such as microarchitecture development, RTL design and implementation, simulation-based verification, formal verification, functional coverage, or signoff.
Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog, UVM/OVM methodologies, and relevant EDA tools and development flows.
Programming or scripting experience using Python, C/C++, Perl, Shell, Assembly, or comparable languages.
Proven ability to own technical deliverables, manage priorities, and solve complex engineering problems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within a global engineering environment.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on complex processor, SoC, or computational IP development projects.
Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams.
Experience improving engineering methodologies, verification flows, automation, or quality processes.
Experience contributing to technical reviews and design discussions.
PhD or advanced specialization in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Expected Salary Range
69.465,60 € - 104.198,40 €The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
