Conducts tests (for example on electrical function, reliability, packaging quality); records results and prepares technical reports.

 

Requires broad knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: • Works under limited supervision for routine situations. • Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. • Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.

Realiza verificaciones, pruebas e inspecciones de materias primas, productos en proceso y productos terminados. Compara las características físicas de componentes, materiales, equipos y productos contra las especificaciones técnicas establecidas para identificar defectos o desviaciones. Lleva a cabo diferentes pruebas, tales como funcionalidad eléctrica, confiabilidad y calidad del empaque, registrando los resultados y preparando los reportes técnicos correspondientes.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Inspeccionar materias primas, producto en proceso y producto terminado para asegurar el cumplimiento de los requisitos de calidad.
• Comparar las características físicas y funcionales de materiales y productos con las especificaciones técnicas aplicables.
• Detectar, documentar y reportar defectos o no conformidades identificadas durante las inspecciones.
• Realizar pruebas de calidad y desempeño, incluyendo pruebas funcionales, de confiabilidad y de empaque.
• Registrar con precisión los resultados obtenidos y mantener la documentación correspondiente.
• Elaborar reportes técnicos relacionados con las inspecciones y pruebas realizadas.
• Apoyar y capacitar a personal (Inspectores de calidad) en procedimientos y actividades del área.
• Colaborar con otras áreas para la resolución de problemas de calidad y la implementación de acciones correctivas.
