POSITION: METAL FINISHER
COMPANY PROFILE: HOLLY HUNT is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products.
POSITION PROFILE:
Performs the finishing/patina finish on metal parts from a set of components previously prepared and tailored for finishing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Finishing of components:
- Product completion per Production Schedule.
- Meet all critical product characteristics and color matching master sample.
- Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
- Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
- Observe all company policies and standard practices.
- Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications
- Desirable experience on metal finishing techniques such:
- Patina finishing using wet rags and rinsing.
- Toning and Top coating using spray cans.
- Reading and understanding mixing specifications.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
