You will lead and shape Oncology medical activities in Switzerland. You will work closely with cross-functional colleagues across Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial teams. You will build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, societies and patient advocacy groups to bring clinical and patient insights back into strategy. In this role you will

  • Act as the scientific and clinical medical lead for Oncology in Switzerland with the main focus on gynaecological oncology, guiding local medical strategy and execution.

  • Lead, coach and develop a small Oncology medical team, including Medical Science Liaisons

  • Translate global and regional medical plans into country-level tactics and ensure compliant and timely delivery.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, academic centres and other external stakeholders.

  • Generate and communicate medical insights and evidence needs to inform regional and global strategy, clinical research and access activities.

  • Support clinical research initiatives including investigator-sponsored studies, collaborative projects and company-sponsored trials.

Why You?

Basic Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy, life sciences or related discipline (e.g. MD, PhD) or equivalent clinical/scientific experience.

  • Significant experience in medical affairs or clinical development within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with relevant Oncology exposure.

  • Proven experience engaging in scientific exchange with external experts and clinical stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of clinical data, evidence-based medicine and medical communications.

  • Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in local Swiss languages (German, French, or Italian) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Clinical background in Oncology, such as a practising physician or equivalent clinical experience.

  • Experience managing people or leading small teams, including coaching and performance management.

  • Experience translating global or regional medical strategy into local country plans.

  • Experience in real-world evidence, investigator-sponsored research or clinical trial support.

  • Familiarity with the Swiss healthcare environment, reimbursement and access pathways.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience in a matrix organisation.

  • Experience presenting scientific content at congresses, advisory boards or educational events.
