Position Summary: As a Junior Medical Writer within the Content Creation Chapter in the Global Digital Hub, support Roche business partners by developing medical writing and digital content solutions across formats (e.g., emails, videos, banners, infographics, and websites), helping identify current and future content needs, contributing to content creation initiatives, and working with senior medical writers to ensure resources, tools, and writing activities are deployed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with business needs.

The Opportunity:

  • Commit to continuous professional development and uphold the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality, and compliance with local and international industry guidelines, actively participating in mentorship, training, workshops, seminars, and one-on-one sessions to build Roche therapeutic area knowledge and medical writing skills.

  • Support writing, editing, and self-editing of medical content across formats, digital channels, platforms, outputs, and disease areas, including patient information, HCP educational materials (slides, posters, speaker briefs, and conference presentations), newsletters, medical reports/study summaries, and public relations materials.

  • Analyze briefs by identifying key components, formulating relevant client questions, proactively flagging delivery risks or issues, and applying strong writing and proofing skills to ensure client-ready quality.

  • Ensure accurate referencing and compliance by creating marked-up packs, verifying source authenticity and authority, maintaining clear mark-up and appropriate filing, researching/applying regulatory and guideline requirements, and preparing content for LMR approval in VVPM, including references.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects across therapeutic areas by monitoring deadlines and delivering on agreed timelines, partnering with creative teams, contributing ideas/concepts for added value, and maintaining effective professional communication with internal teams, clients, HCPs, and key stakeholders.

Who you are:

  • Degree in medical sciences or a related field, with 0–2 years of experience in a similar role; internships or academic projects are a plus.

  • Advanced-level written and spoken English

  • Passionate about content writing, with excellent attention to detail, consistency, clarity, scientific rigor, and ability to interpret data.

  • Strong written and verbal communication, effective time management, prioritization skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with an accountable, focused, and precise attitude.

  • Collaborative, customer-service-oriented team player with a can-do attitude, natural relationship-building skills, continuous improvement and growth mindset, quick learning ability, passion for technologies, and experience with standard IT applications, preferably Google Workspace.
