We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineer II at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction.
Responsible for design of various mechanical parts related to OEM integration of EquipmentShare proprietary products, and the design of products to support the overall EquipmentShare mission.
Primary Responsibilities
- Concept and develop mechanical components and systems that may include design of weldments, stampings or laser cut parts, and bonding of components.
- Communication with suppliers and customers on product selection and integration
- Work with manufacturing, product verification and validation, and suppliers to develop efficient and cost effective designs
- Document the design solution required for production and product validation testing
- Experience working with 3D modeling software such as Creo and SolidWorks, including the modeling of components, sheet metal, and hydraulic or electrical routings
- Other duties and design projects as assigned

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in 3-D Modeling Software; Creo experience (Preferred)
- Previous experience with Windchill or PDMLink
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Design of weldments to meet AWS D1.1 requirements
- Design experience or exposure to off-road mobile equipment
- Ability to address quality issues, determine root cause and drive to a corrective action
- Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies
- Excellent communication both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments
- Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 to 5 years related experience
- At least 6+ years of experience for Senior Mechanical Engineer
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
