Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Design precision components, modules, and subsystems, with a focus on mechanical design.
Responsibilities:
- Drive product requirements definition and specification.
- Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical solutions.
- Support project cost estimation and scheduling activities.
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs, including detailed drawings using 3D CAD tools (Creo/ProE).
- Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and apply GD&T methodologies.
- Conduct and support engineering analyses, including thermal, vibration, fluid, and FEA simulations (advantage).
- Lead and participate in design reviews throughout the development process.
- Procure prototype parts and support vendor interactions.
- Assemble, integrate, and test prototypes and subsystems.
- Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
- Develop assembly and test procedures.
- Release engineering documentation and transfer designs to manufacturing.
Minimum Qualifications
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
Experience with various manufacturing and fabrication methods, motion system design, and DFX principles.
Experience working on multidisciplinary systems.
Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
