Join our SMM site supervisory team and play a key role in the delivery of a major project in Changi.


We are seeking an experienced M&E Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to supervise Mechanical & Electrical works, including chiller plant and Air Handling Unit (AHU) installations, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise M&E construction works, including chiller plant and AHU installations.
  • Attend project, design, technical, and progress meetings, and maintain proper records and meeting notes.
  • Witness site demonstrations, testing and commissioning activities, and follow up on outstanding issues with consultants and contractors.
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements and site safety standards.
  • Review and monitor M&E installation works, sequencing, and coordination with other disciplines.
  • Identify and resolve site clashes, technical issues, and coordination challenges relating to M&E services.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution; or
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on site supervision experience in M&E works.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, testing & commissioning (T&C) procedures, and construction methodologies.
  • Experience with chiller plants, AHUs, and multidisciplinary coordination in a construction environment.
