Schedule: Thursday - Saturday | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY HERE…

As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in keeping materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished goods moving safely and efficiently throughout the facility. Your work directly supports production operations, inventory accuracy, customer shipments, and overall warehouse efficiency. Through your commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork, you will help ensure products are delivered where they need to be, when they need to be there.

WHAT YOU WILL DO…

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

• Receive, store, move, pick, and distribute materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Read production schedules, customer orders, shipping orders, work orders, and requisitions to determine material handling priorities.
• Transport materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Load and unload trailers containing palletized and non-palletized products.
• Operate forklifts and other manual or automated material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain materials within warehouse and storage locations.

Inventory & Order Fulfillment

• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, and designated storage locations according to established procedures.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, and stock requests for production and warehouse operations.
• Assemble customer orders and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Label and identify materials using appropriate documentation and inventory controls.
• Open containers, cartons, crates, and other packaging as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory activities as assigned.
• Record quantities of materials received, stored, or distributed.
• Weigh and count inventory to ensure compliance with company standards.

Documentation & Systems

• Utilize computer systems to enter inventory transactions and maintain warehouse records.
• Take and maintain photographic documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and shipment activity.
• Support warehouse management and inventory control processes.

Safety, Quality & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and material handling standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
• Store supplies and materials in designated locations.
• Ensure aisles, exits, and warehouse pathways remain clear of obstructions.
• Report defective equipment, unsafe conditions, and workplace injuries promptly.
• Follow proper lifting, carrying, and material handling procedures.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, including: 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, safety, and organization.

Additional Responsibilities

• Work overtime as required by business needs.
• Climb and work at elevated locations when necessary.
• Access material tanks and tank trailers to verify seals and obtain samples when applicable.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

You will serve as a critical link between warehouse operations and production teams to ensure materials are available where and when they are needed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE… (MUST HAVE)

• High School Diploma or GED and/or one (1) year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment or obtain required certifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Basic computer skills and ability to enter and maintain records.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance when needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Ability to work at heights and climb ladders, platforms, tanks, or trailers when necessary.

IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE… (NICE TO HAVE)

• Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse experience.
• Previous forklift experience and certification.
• Experience using Oracle, WMS, or other warehouse management systems.
• Experience with cycle counting and inventory management processes.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing, GMPs, and warehouse safety practices.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and 5S methodologies.

Work Environment

• Warehouse and manufacturing environment with exposure to forklift traffic, material handling equipment, and production operations.
• Exposure to changing seasonal temperatures.
• Moderate noise levels in warehouse operations and quieter office areas.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting, operating material handling equipment, and inventory movement activities.
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and elevated work.
• May require work in storage tanks, tank trailers, or elevated material storage areas.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
