The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Cleanroom Support
  • Transfer raw materials, components, tooling, and WIP into and out of the cleanroom following established cleanroom protocols.
  • Verify all materials are properly identified and accompanied by the correct traveler, route card, or production documentation before transfer.
  • Ensure cleanroom entry requirements are met, including appropriate packaging, cleaning status, and material containment requirements.
  • Support material replenishment activities to ensure uninterrupted production operations within the cleanroom.
  • Segregate and identify non-conforming, quarantined, or hold materials in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Handle products carefully to prevent contamination, damage, mix-up, or loss of traceability.
• Packing, Labelling & Product Identification
  • Perform non-cleanroom packing activities according to customer, quality, and shipping requirements.
  • Ensure all packing materials are in good condition and suitable for product protection.
  • Verify that all required labels, part markings, identification tags, and documentation are correctly applied prior to shipment or transfer.
  • Conduct visual checks to ensure packaging completeness and compliance with work instructions.
  • Report damaged packaging materials, missing labels, or discrepancies for immediate corrective action.
• Inventory & Traceability Control
  • Maintain accurate traceability of materials, components, and WIP throughout the production process.
  • Perform material transactions, stock movements, and inventory updates in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist in cycle counts, stock verification, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure physical inventory matches documentation and system records.
  • Support investigation of inventory discrepancies and material shortages.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Adhere to cleanroom gowning requirements, contamination control procedures, and handling standards.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe material handling practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS), customer requirements, and applicable work instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and 5S standards within storage, staging, and packing areas.
  • Escalate material discrepancies, labeling issues, damaged parts, or quality concerns promptly.
• Continuous Improvement & Team Support
  • Support production, warehouse, quality, and logistics teams in achieving operational objectives.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Assist with material flow improvements to improve efficiency, traceability, and workplace organization.
  • Support cross-functional activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in material handling, warehousing, production support, logistics, or cleanroom operations preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing documentation, travelers, and material traceability requirements.
• Experience in packing, labelling, and inventory control activities is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cleanroom practices or contamination-controlled environments is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for inventory transactions and production record updates.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately.
• Strong commitment to product quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

• Work Environment: Cleanroom and non-cleanroom manufacturing environment with controlled temperature and humidity conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform repetitive handling activities, lift and move materials within approved safety limits, and handle precision components carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
• Work Schedule: Shift work and overtime may be required to support operational requirements.

Reports To: Production Supervisor / Cleanroom Supervisor (as applicable)
