Are you an organised and proactive individual with experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations? We are looking for a Material Control to play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing operations across both Holbrook and Grange sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the supply of raw materials to support paper production in line with production plans.
- Monitor and control inventory using Snap/BPCS and other warehouse management systems.
- Maintain accurate stock records through regular stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and material variances.
- Support production planning by preparing shop orders, labels, and production documentation.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries and ensure goods are received, checked, and stored correctly.
- Manage stock levels of key materials, packaging, pallets, labels, and consumables.
- Lead and support team members, ensuring adequate coverage during holidays and absence.
- Deliver training on warehouse systems, automation processes, and work instructions.
- Support month-end inventory processes and variance investigations with relevant departments.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make decisions.
- Experience working with stock control or warehouse management systems.
- Good numerical and administrative skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A flexible approach and willingness to support operational requirements when needed.
