For the evaluation of these paints, a measurement system currently at the prototype stage is to be employed, which analyses the reflectance spectra of the paints. Within the scope of this thesis project, fundamental investigations of this measurement system are to be carried out and evaluated.

Key accountabilities:

  • Experimental design and planning
  • Test rig setup and execution of experiments
  • Data analysis and presentation of results

  • Programming skills for data analysis (e.g. Python, MATLAB, or similar)
  • Enthusiasm for practical experimentation and hands-on laboratory work

The scope of the topic can be adapted for a Bachelor's thesis, Master's thesis, or student research project; however, it should be designed to cover a period of approximately six months.
