Munters is seeking a Master Data Specialist (PMO) to support our global Transformation Towards Operational Excellence (TTOE) Program and the implementation of IFS Cloud, our unified ERP platform.

This role is critical to ensuring master data is accurate, consistent, complete, and ready for migration across regions and operational sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to cleanse, validate, standardize, and govern data supporting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other business processes.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable driving progress across teams and geographies. This individual will help resolve data quality issues, strengthen governance practices, and establish sustainable processes that support long-term operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Master Data Quality & Governance

  • Cleanse, validate, standardize, and maintain high-quality master data.
  • Support data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of master data across systems, regions, and sites.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

ERP Transformation & Data Migration

  • Support data preparation, cleansing, and validation for migration to IFS Cloud.
  • Ensure master data aligns with standardized business processes and templates.
  • Help establish data readiness for deployment, cutover, and post-go-live operations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve migration issues and maintain data integrity throughout implementation.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with global business stakeholders to collect, validate, and approve master data.
  • Help establish clear data ownership, accountability, and maintenance processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to drive alignment and resolve data-related challenges.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams supporting engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.

Data Issue Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for master data quality issues.
  • Investigate root causes and coordinate sustainable corrective actions.
  • Monitor data quality KPIs and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Recommend improvements to data management tools, processes, and practices.

Compliance, Audit & Controls

  • Maintain data integrity, traceability, and appropriate documentation.
  • Support audit activities and compliance with internal policies and applicable requirements.
  • Help ensure governance standards and data controls are consistently followed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in master data management, data quality, data governance, ERP implementation, or a related field.
  • Understanding of how master data supports end-to-end business processes, particularly in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Experience with data cleansing, validation, standardization, and issue resolution.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, challenge processes constructively, and drive progress without direct authority.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IFS Cloud or another enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, data migration, or business transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with master data domains related to manufacturing, engineering, materials, products, suppliers, or supply chain.
  • Experience developing or maintaining data governance standards, controls, and quality metrics.
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple sites or regions.

What Munters Offers

  • Competitive compensation.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Flexible work arrangements, where applicable to the role.
  • Paid time off and vacation benefits.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Professional development and learning opportunities.
  • A collaborative environment focused on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Equal Employment Opportunity

Munters is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace. Employment decisions are made without discrimination based on any status protected by applicable law.

Employment Contingencies: Offers may be contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment background checks and drug screening, consistent with applicable law.

Recruiting recommendation: For the external posting, I would keep the emphasis on master data quality, ERP implementation, and cross-functional collaboration. I would also confirm whether prior IFS experience is required or simply preferred, and whether international travel is occasional or frequent, before publishing.
