About this Marketing Project Coordinator role at Astreya
Marketing Coordinator (Part-Time)
Hours: 20–25 hours/week Department: Marketing Reports To: VP of Marketing
About the Role
We're looking for a highly organized Marketing Coordinator to manage project workflows for a fast-paced, high-volume marketing team. This role is the operational backbone of the team — keeping campaigns, content, and deliverables on track through Jira, while communicating clearly with stakeholders across the business. The ideal candidate combines strong project management instincts with genuine marketing fluency, so they can prioritize work intelligently rather than just track it.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage day-to-day project management in Jira for a busy marketing team, including ticket creation, workflows, boards, sprints, and backlog grooming
- Build and maintain project schedules, timelines, and deadlines across multiple concurrent marketing initiatives
- Serve as the point of contact for stakeholder communications — providing status updates, flagging risks, and keeping cross-functional partners aligned
- Triage and prioritize incoming requests based on marketing goals and team capacity
- Track deliverables from intake through completion, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Partner with content, design, and campaign owners to understand task context well enough to manage it effectively
- Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks in workflows and recommend process improvements
- Prepare and distribute a daily task roll-up, proactively flagging red flags, blockers, or at-risk deadlines
- Co-run the weekly marketing team call alongside the VP of Marketing, helping set the agenda and drive follow-ups
Required Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Jira — comfortable configuring workflows, boards, automations, and reporting, not just entering tickets
- Baseline marketing knowledge — able to understand the purpose and context of marketing tasks (campaigns, content cycles, creative requests, etc.)
- Excellent schedule/timeline management skills
- Strong stakeholder communication skills — clear, proactive, and professional across all levels
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
- Baseline experience in copy editing, copywriting, or design
- Prior experience supporting a marketing team specifically (vs. general PM experience)
Details
- Part-time, 20–25 hours per week
- Remote
