The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Designer to join our Creative team in Athens.
You'll sit at the centre of Blueground's design output, working as the creative partner to multiple teams across the business. One week you might be designing our next ad campaign, the next an email flow, a landing page, a booth for a trade show, or the graphics that wrap our delivery vans.
It's a genuinely broad brief, and that's the appeal: real variety, visible work, and direct contact with the people whose goals your design serves. It also means the role rewards someone who can prioritise well, ask the right questions upfront, and move quickly without dropping quality.
AI is part of the daily toolkit here, not an experiment on the side. We're looking for someone with real fluency on generative creative platforms, taking a brief and producing static and video ads on tools like Pencil, Creatify, Adobe GenStudio and Higgsfield, alongside everyday use of Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini for concepting and iteration. The goal is to push what a small team can produce, while keeping a designer's judgement over what actually ships.
What you'll do
- Design marketing assets across digital and print: paid social and display campaigns, email, landing pages, presentations, branding and event materials.
- Take a brief and produce static and video ad creative on generative AI platforms, always with a critical eye on brand consistency and quality.
- Adapt and scale campaign concepts into full asset sets across formats, channels and markets.
- Contribute to the evolution of our brand guidelines and design system, and keep templates and component libraries current.
- Help maintain an organised library of design files and assets, with easy access for teams across the business.
- Stay ahead of emerging AI and design tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
- 3-5 years as a designer in a marketing, in-house creative or agency environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout and visual craft across both print and digital work. Please include a link with your application.
- Expert command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
- Hands-on experience producing static and video ads on generative AI creative platforms. Please include examples in your portfolio.
- Comfort with motion and video editing basics (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for finished work.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to translate a business objective into a visual solution.
