Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator curates website content by editing, uploading, auditing, and measuring information that supports communities, homes, and plans. This role improves the quality and quantity of digital content, coordinates website and campaign activities with cross-functional teams and external vendors, and evaluates content accuracy and performance. The position applies foundational knowledge of search engine marketing and web analytics to support digital visibility, lead generation, and the online customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities (includes but not limited to)
•Edits, uploads, and audits website content, including writing and revising valid Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) content in accordance with brand and technical standards.
•Coordinates assigned marketing project tasks and workflows to support timely, accurate completion of digital content and campaign deliverables.
•Supports cross-functional teams through education, training, and guidance on website content processes, standards, and tools.
•Analyzes and audits referral websites for content accuracy, traffic performance, and opportunities for improvement.
•Monitors and researches lead generation activity and digital performance trends to identify content and campaign insights.
•Compiles, validates, and analyzes website, campaign, and lead data for recurring and ad hoc performance reports.
•Contributes to digital content brainstorming and campaign planning by recommending content topics, formats, and improvements based on performance information.
•Coordinates with external vendors and cross-functional partners to execute and measure digital marketing campaigns and website content initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience:
•One to two years of experience in digital content creation, content curation, website administration, digital marketing, or a related field.
•Experience supporting the execution and measurement of digital marketing campaigns.
Skills and Abilities:
•Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt content to the M/I Homes brand voice and tone.
•Basic understanding of search engine marketing methods, including search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, keyword research, and link building, as they relate to website content.
•Basic understanding of web analytics and website performance metrics.
•General awareness of web content management or content management system platforms.
•Ability to read and write basic HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and Extensible Markup Language (XML).
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to compile, analyze, and report website traffic and performance information.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize competing work, and complete multiple tasks accurately and efficiently.
•Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the initiative to learn new technical applications.
Work Conditions:
•Work is performed in person at the Easton Town Center office in Columbus, Ohio.
•Regular use of a computer and web-based systems is required to create, review, analyze, and report digital content and performance information.
