Market Lead – Animal Health

Location: Zimbabwe

We are seeking an experienced and driven Market Lead to drive commercial growth and market development within the animal health sector across Zimbabwe and surrounding markets.

This role is ideal for a commercially astute professional with strong marketing expertise, a passion for building partnerships, and the ability to execute impactful strategies in a dynamic, multi-country environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute go-to-market and marketing strategies to drive business growth
• Lead annual marketing plans, campaigns, and product positioning initiatives
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities
• Support and collaborate with sales teams and distributors to increase product adoption
• Build and manage strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders
• Provide training, tools, and marketing support to field teams
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and quality standards
• Monitor sales performance, market share, and profitability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Technical, and Finance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or similar
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in marketing or commercial roles within the animal health industry (preferred)
• Proven experience in multi-country or regional market management
• Strong understanding of animal health markets and regulatory environments
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability
• Willingness to travel frequently within Zimbabwe and the region
