We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team and play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the production of world-class materials in a safe and collaborative environment.

Principal Purpose of Position:  

  • Under general supervision, develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards.  Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions which will document work; tests and solves problems.  

  • Reviews product requirements with product development compatibility of processing methods to determine costs and schedules.  

  • Lead the analysis of key process measures and determine major issues and their root causes and implement effective solutions.  

  • Lead the implementation of plans, actions, and measurements to achieve goals and objectives.  

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies for health, safety and environmental matters, and understand the impact of regulatory compliance issues. 

  • Provide expertise, input and guidance as well as sound problem solving to cross functional teams.  

  • May review proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernization of existing production/processing equipment. 

  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned. 

Required Education and Experience:   

  • Four-year college degree in an Engineering discipline required 

  • Three or more years’ experience in an engineering support position required 

 

Relevant Work Experience: 

  • Possesses a practical understanding of engineering principles, standards, methods and practices. 

  • Proficient in MS Office products.  

  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions to manage the flow of work.   

  • The ideal candidate will require strong written and verbal communication skills on a highly technical level, have strong technical writing and problem-solving skills.  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.  

  • Ability to work within guidelines of standard operating procedures as well as management direction to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
