The Manufacturing Engineer will support the development of composite components and assemblies for Next Generation engine programs. Roles and Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of Senior Engineers in the development of manufacturing processes for composite hardware.
- Lead and provide technical direction to projects with critical business impact.
- Design and develop mold tooling.
- Drive rigor for documentation of projects and lessons learned.
- Protect the Intellectual Property rights of the Company.
- Develop, author and follow technical plans to meet desired manufacturing objectives.
- Meet quality system requirements for Aerospace applications.
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
- Maintain currency and compliance with GE policies, procedures and directives, including vouchering, reporting, operating, environmental and safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma with 4 years of manufacturing experience).
- Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing experience.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous experience in composites manufacturing (i.e.: Braiding technology, Ply shape development, Resin Injection Molding, Autoclave and/or press curing).
- Experience operating within Quality Systems (Ex: AS9100, NADCAP).
- Prior experience in the use of CAD modeling software (Unigraphics preferred).

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
