Semiconductor Manufacturing Assembly Technician-CONTRACTOR

Location: Chaska, MN

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through hands-on assembly and production activities, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate is self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture in all daily activities.
• Perform hands-on manufacturing and assembly tasks using hand tools and production equipment.
• Follow established work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Inspecting work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Identifying and resolving production issues through effective problem-solving techniques.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Participate in required job-specific training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working with hand tools and performing hands-on tasks.

Preferred

• Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings.

Work Environment

• Semiconductor Cleanroom
• May require standing for extended periods and using various hand tools and equipment.
• Must comply with all safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
• This position offers training for job-specific processes

Salary Ranges

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.  In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.  The talent advisor can share more details about total compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.
