Envirogen is a leading provider of industrial water and wastewater treatment solutions, helping blue-chip customers improve operational performance, sustainability and resource efficiency.

As we enter the next phase of growth across the UK and Europe, we are seeking an outstanding Managing Director to take full ownership of the regional business.

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will lead all commercial, operational, engineering, project management and service functions, with full P&L accountability and responsibility for delivering ambitious growth plans.

This is not a boardroom-only role. We're looking for a hands-on business leader who enjoys being close to customers, projects and people; someone who can drive strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to remove barriers, improve performance and accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the UK & Europe P&L, growth strategy and business performance.
• Lead and develop teams across Sales, Service, Operations, Engineering and PMO.
• Drive profitable growth through project sales, recurring service revenues and customer retention.
• Build a disciplined, high-performance culture with strong accountability and execution.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and profitably.
• Strengthen collaboration between commercial and operational teams.
• Champion a zero-harm safety culture across the business.

Requirements

About You

You are an experienced Managing Director, General Manager or Business Unit Leader with a track record of growing engineering, environmental, industrial or water-sector businesses.

You will bring:

• Proven P&L leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and operational credentials.
• Experience leading Sales, Operations, Service and Project Delivery teams.
• A history of building high-performing leadership teams.
• The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience within water treatment, environmental services, process engineering or a related industrial sector.
