Job Description:

Role Summary:

The Sourcing Manager for the US Team will lead, manage, and develop a team of sourcing specialists responsible for identifying and engaging top talent across the United States. This role will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies, leveraging tools like Workday, Indeed, and LinkedIn Recruiter, to build robust talent pipelines for critical roles. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing and motivating sourcing teams, driving results, fostering strong partnerships with hiring managers, and ensuring the team's professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & People Management

● Directly manage and lead a team of US-based sourcing specialists, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and mentorship.

● Set clear performance expectations, define individual and team goals aligned with overall talent acquisition objectives, and track progress against these goals.

● Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with team members to provide feedback, coaching, and support their professional development.

● Identify training and development needs for the team, facilitate learning opportunities, and encourage continuous improvement.

● Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice adoption.

● Address and resolve team issues, conflicts, and performance concerns in a timely and effective manner.

● Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new sourcing team members.

 
Sourcing Strategy & Execution

● Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to attract top talent for current and future needs across various functions and levels within the US.

● Develop and refine outreach strategies to attract and engage top-tier talent.

● Ensure the team provides a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the sourcing process.
● Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovative sourcing techniques.

Tools & Technology Optimization

● Maintain a deep understanding and hands-on experience utilizing Workday for sourcing, candidate tracking, and reporting.

● Demonstrate proficiency in leveraging Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and engage passive candidates.

● Develop and implement best practices for utilizing these platforms to maximize reach and efficiency.

● Explore and evaluate new sourcing tools and technologies to enhance the team's capabilities.

Stakeholder Partnership & Collaboration

 ● Build strong relationships and partner effectively with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop targeted sourcing strategies.

● Communicate regularly with hiring managers on the progress of sourcing efforts and provide market insights.

● Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless transition from sourcing to the interview process.

● Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on talent acquisition goals.

Metrics, Data & Reporting

● Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven decisions.

● Track and analyze key sourcing metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate engagement) to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.

● Generate regular reports on sourcing activities and present findings to leadership.

Key Qualifications:

● Minimum 8-10 years of prior research/sourcing experience

● Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing a team of sourcing or recruitment professionals.

● Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.

● Expertise in utilizing Workday for sourcing and applicant tracking.

● Proficiency in leveraging Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter for candidate identification and engagement.

● Proven ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and as 1 part of a team.

● Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in the US.

● Experience sourcing for [mention specific industries relevant to your company].

● Experience with other ATS platforms in addition to Workday.
