As a Manager Supply Chain Programs – Level 2 located in Boulder, CO, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.      

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all subcontracts, material, and services content for a collection of Programs across a single Operating Unit (OU).
• Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire OU supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
• Leads supply chain Program execution for the OU and is accountable for labor resource planning, material cost and planning, supply chain financial forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
• Manages and reports on specific key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, PR to PO placement, product non-conformance counts, supplier on-boarding cycle time, and develops metrics to drive visibility and efficiency.   
• Develops the supply chain strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) for a large volume of proposal activities.
• Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed supply chain have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies.
• Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.
• Reviews complex subcontract purchase order documentation for compliance to Northrop Grumman policies and procedures and Government requirements.
• Mentors team members based on extensive knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and AS9100 requirements including Cost Type Award Fee and Incentive Fee contracting methodology.
• Engages with subcontractors and suppliers to drive performance improvements and root cause corrective actions (RCCAs) as required. 
• Enforces Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements and drives collaboration with Business Management function to ensure favorable supplier financial performance.
• Interface daily with other OU functional and PMO colleagues to ensure maximum communication and knowledge flow.
• Support critical Customer meetings and data calls as required.
• Other duties as assigned

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• Prior experience leading/managing a team

 

 Preferred Qualifications:  

• Active Secret, TS, or SCI clearance preferred but not required to start

Primary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 - $219,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
