Attributes We Value
We hire successful builders with founder-like energy who want real impact, accelerated learning, and true ownership. You bring strong role-related expertise and sharp thinking, and you’re motivated by our mission and operating principles. You move fast with good judgment, dig deep with curiosity, and make decisions from first principles, balancing speed and rigor.
You're humble and collaborative; turn zero‑to‑one ideas into real products, and you “get stuff done” end-to-end. You use AI to work smarter and solve problems faster. Here, you’ll tackle complex, high‑visibility problems with exceptional teammates and grow your career as we build the future of global banking. If that sounds like you, let’s build what’s next.
About the Role:
Airwallex is revolutionising global banking, and the EMEA Revenue Strategy & Operations team builds our growth strategy and drives commercial results. Based in London, you will be the on-the-ground RS&O partner for our fast-growing UK, Ireland & Eastern Europe business. You will identify high-impact, cross-functional priorities and both build the commercial infrastructure and drive the strategy to deliver against them.
Success in this role means the region successfully delivers against its commercial growth ambition and makes the strategic moves now to ensure sustainable growth for the future. This is a hands-on, blended role: Strategic Revenue Operations (AI tooling, best in class territories, insight driven performance tracking), and direct support to the UK, Ireland & Eastern Europe commercial teams. You will work as part of a lean, data-driven world-class team and interact with stakeholders across the business - including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Engineering, Compliance and Legal across EMEA and globally.
What You'll Do...
Drive Strategic Revenue Operations for the region: Build and run the operational backbone for the UK, Ireland & Eastern Europe commercial teams including performance tracking, territory development and management, and AI tooling
Partner with leadership as the expert local strategist: Act as a strategic thought partner to commercial leaders, provide weekly performance and forecasting support, run country QBRs and help drive local improvements
Align cross-functional stakeholders: Act as the trusted business partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Compliance and Legal - locally in the region and with global teams - to align on priorities, drive decisions, and achieve cohesive revenue performance
Raise the bar with AI: Leverage AI-driven tools and automation to streamline commercial workflows and reporting
What You Bring...
You’re success-oriented with a bias for action, holding yourself accountable for getting things done and driving tangible outcomes
You bring strong operational rigour - you enjoy owning processes end-to-end, building scalable systems and tooling, and are detail-oriented about data quality and hygiene
You’re an analytical, strategic thinker who has the ability to simplify and communicate even the most complex problems
You collaborate seamlessly across functions and cultures, excelling at influencing without authority and building trust with senior stakeholders
You operate with a team-first, low-ego approach, bringing intellectual honesty to your work and focusing on how we win as a group
What You Have...
5+ years of work experience, ideally with a mix of top-tier strategy consulting and/or high-growth startups, with meaningful time focused on commercial strategy/ops
Strong analytical skills, including data modelling and working with data reporting tools
An outstanding record of academic achievement
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience in high-growth fintech, financial services, or technology environments is a strong advantage, particularly if you have prior exposure to complex, cross-functional commercial operations and scaling go-to-market processes
Ability to speak, read and write in Polish is an advantage, but not a requirement
At Airwallex you’ll have the ability to make an impact in a rapidly growing, global fintech. We want you to share in our success, which is why you’ll be offered a competitive salary plus valuable equity within Airwallex. We also like to ensure we create the best environment for our people by providing a collaborative open office space, operating on a hybrid model (3-4 days in the office, with occasional travel within EMEA).
