Role Purpose

As Manager, Results Technology, you will lead the delivery of the timing, scoring, and results systems that put every result on the world's screens. In the years leading up to the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, you will plan and drive a complex, multi-vendor technology program from the ground up — owning schedules, milestones, and readiness across departments and venues. You will coordinate partners, manage risk, and prepare systems for flawless Games-time operation, creating the reliable technology backbone a global audience will trust the moment competition begins.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and track detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables across the integrated timing, scoring, and results technology program.
• Own RAID management — risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies — from early planning through to Games-time readiness.
• Drive transition and readiness planning to prepare the results systems for reliable, uninterrupted Games-time operation.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery across multiple departments, venues, and reporting lines, keeping every stakeholder aligned.
• Manage vendors and delivery partners, including Omega, Deloitte, and application providers, and report status clearly to executives.

Required Competencies

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, business, engineering or sports management is required for this role
• 5+ years of large-scale technology project management, planning and delivering complex, multi-vendor technology programs to fixed, immovable deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with timing, scoring, and results systems, including their systems integration and end-to-end operational readiness planning.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills spanning technical, commercial, and delivery partners at every level of a complex delivery program.
• Proven sporting event delivery experience, ideally supporting the delivery of major, high-visibility international sporting events under significant operational complexity.

Valued Experience

• Experience delivering technology projects at venue and event scale.
• Familiarity with LA Games venues and their operating environments.
• Experience supporting the delivery of sporting events in the United States.
• Comfort working with delivery partners such as Omega and Deloitte.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
• The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
• The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
• Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
• Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
