[What the role is]
The Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA) is the training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. It drives capability development for the Singapore air hub and provides capacity building for the international community. To ensure SAA’s continued relevance and to establish it as a centre of excellence for aviation knowledge, the SAA is undergoing a transformation of curriculum and learning spaces.[What you will be working on]
Reporting to the Deputy Director, you will work with Management and internal stakeholders to strengthen SAA’s brand and profile as a leading centre of excellence in aviation training both locally and internationally.
You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies and plans aligned with SAA’s strategic objectives. This includes:
Creating and editing compelling and impactful content across digital and print platforms to engage SAA’s alumni, trainees and partners, ensuring that all communications align with SAA’s brand guidelines
Executing targeted campaigns to enhance SAA’s outreach and supporting key events that showcase SAA’s transformation and Singapore’s thought leadership in international aviation
Managing and maintaining relevant databases to support targeted marketing efforts
[What we are looking for]
Relevant experience in marketing, communications and outreach, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality work
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and communications platforms, with a keen eye for audience engagement, quality and brand consistency
A proactive, organised and self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across teams
Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging and audience-focused content
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to build relationships and support SAA’s outreach and positioning efforts
Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or a contract renewal.
