The candidate plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the bank's Wealth Management strategy. This role is responsible for conducting in-depth macroeconomic and market research to formulate actionable investment advisory strategies, supporting product development, and empowering frontline sales teams to drive AUM growth and fee income.
Key Responsibilities
- Investment Strategy & Market Advisory
- Conduct intensive research and analysis on global macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and asset classes to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Formulate clear, actionable investment advisory views and asset allocation strategies aligned with market conditions.
- Communicate market outlooks and investment strategies effectively across internal channels, including Product Managers, Investment Consultants, and frontline sales teams.
- Monitor global macroeconomic developments and provide timely market commentary and advisory updates.
- Business & Strategy Execution
- Support management to design and execute business plans and product guidelines that achieve target AUM and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Investment Consultants to align advisory content with product shelf priorities and client needs.
- Engage with external fund houses, Global Markets, and third-party product providers to evaluate market solutions and optimize overall investment offerings.
- Sales Enablement & Portfolio Performance
- Act as a subject matter expert in client discussions, internal briefings, and market updates to articulate investment strategy and performance.
- Equip frontline teams with advisory tools, market insights, and collateral to drive investment product adoption and client engagement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent financial regulatory licenses are highly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in macro/investment research, wealth management advisory, or portfolio strategy within financial institutions.
- Deep understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals, multi-asset class mechanics, and wealth management product structures.
- Proven track record in translating complex macroeconomic research into clear advisory strategies for frontline sales and high-net-worth clients.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; collaborative, articulate, and approachable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset focused on driving AUM and fee income growth.
