We are expanding and looking for a new Manager to support our development projects!

Our Process Development department in Hørsholm develops and optimizes vaccine production processes and supports our production sites. The Department handles diverse and evolving tasks and includes 32 members across 4 specialized teams.


We are looking for a manager to head our Drug Product Development and Analysis Team, consisting of three Scientists and three Technicians reporting to the Head of Process Development. The team focuses on drug product process and formulation development, stability studies, and analyzing development samples for ongoing programs.


Apart from managing the team an important part of the role will be hands-on to review analytical results, maintain the analytical methods and drive the execution of the analytical tasks in the team.

Your Impact

You must have a strong interest in consistently delivering high-quality analytical data and to support the department’s development studies. Given the function of the team, there will be close interaction with all the teams in the department.


Your tasks will include:

  • Driving the daily operation of the team, setting the scientific direction, and ensuring the development of the team members
  • Ensuring established analysis assays run smoothly and deliver high-quality data on time, while supporting the team in developing new assays to advance the department
  • Communicating daily with the team and collaborating closely with Production, Quality Control, and R&D

 

Are You Our Next Pioneer?

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

 

  • M.S. in Biotechnology, Human Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field, preferably with a PhD in protein chemistry or a related topic
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience from the biotech industry or academia Previous experience with pharmaceutical analyses, e.g. chromatographic methods, particle methods and protein methods
  • Previous experience with formulation development, statistical data analysis, and an understanding of protein chemistry
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required
