Your Role and Impact

As a Finance Operations and Controls Manager, you will lead a team of people leaders within the Business Service Center (BSC), driving operational excellence, financial compliance, and high-quality service delivery. You will play a key role in developing leadership capability, strengthening governance and internal controls, and ensuring the integrity of financial information provided to stakeholders and auditors.

This role partners closely with local, regional, and global stakeholders to improve finance processes, manage risk, support business transitions, and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•    Lead, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals and people leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

•    Manage day-to-day finance operations to ensure efficient service delivery, appropriate resource allocation, service-level performance, and customer satisfaction.

•    Drive talent management activities, including recruitment, performance management, succession planning, development plans, mentoring, cross-training, and employee engagement.

•    Oversee financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and risk management in accordance with Flowserve policies, US GAAP, SOX requirements, and applicable local regulations.

•    Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery of financial information, operational KPIs, and reports for stakeholders, leadership, and internal/external auditors.

•    Lead and support finance process transitions, operational improvements, documentation, knowledge management, and productivity initiatives.

•    Partner with local, regional, and global stakeholders to strengthen end-to-end processes, resolve issues, manage escalations, and identify improvement opportunities.

•    Coordinate audit, compliance, and remediation activities, ensuring controls are regularly evaluated and deficiencies are addressed in a timely manner.

•    Manage budgets and costs while balancing operational efficiency, service quality, and business needs.

•    Promote a strong culture of ethics, quality, integrity, Environmental Health & Safety, and customer-focused service across the organization.

Required Qualifications

•    Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop people.

•    Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English.

•    Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

•    Ability to establish and maintain productive and collaborative work relationships with stakeholders.

•    Ability to plan, lead, and implement changes as necessary.

•    Continuous improvement mindset.

•    Strategic thinking and planning.

•    Understand the interface of finance processes and technologies.

•    Deep understanding of controls in a BSC environment.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Bachelor's Degree is preferred, Master's Degree is a plus.

•    Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
