About this Manager - Air Freight role at Rhenus

What You Can Expect:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day Air Freight operations, covering both Air Export and Air Import.
- Lead and supervise the Air Freight team to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
- Drive revenue, shipment volumes, customer retention, and business growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and other stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the Sales team in customer acquisition.
- Ensure competitive pricing, cost control, and healthy margins.
- Resolve customer and operational escalations effectively and ensure timely closure.
What You Bring:
Key Requirements
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Air Freight/Freight Forwarding.
- Strong hands-on experience in Air Export and Air Import.
- Proven experience in managing Air Freight operations and teams.
- Good understanding of Air Freight pricing, documentation, processes, and customer requirements.
- Strong commercial and business development orientation.
