Maintenance Technician – Part Time
Messiah Community | Urbana, OH
National Church Residences is seeking a dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician for our 36-unit senior apartment community in Urbana, Ohio.
Schedule: 20 hours/week | 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
What You'll Do
Complete apartment unit turns and maintenance work orders.
Perform repairs involving PTAC/HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly.
Maintain apartments, common areas, and building systems.
Complete all work orders using an iPad, so strong technology skills are required.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming community for residents.
What We're Looking For
1–2 years of residential/apartment maintenance experience required.
PTAC/HVAC experience strongly preferred.
Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
Unit-turn experience preferred.
Comfortable using an iPad and electronic work order system.
Valid driver's license required.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
On-Call Requirement: This position requires availability for on-call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed. - $60/month mobile phone allowance
