Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at our Clayton plant, you will play a crucial part in our Electrical and Maintenance team, ensuring that our quality products are available to our customers when they need them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, modify and install equipment to maintain and operate the facility.
• Determine and perform required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating)
• Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems
• Perform equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance)
• Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield.
• Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Understand basic electrical and pneumatic diagrams
• Perform all tasks associated with troubleshooting equipment.
• Perform all tasks associated with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Accurately maintains records and reports as required.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a maintenance mechanic in industrial manufacturing, FMCG or a similar environment
• Experience working in Hazardous Area is preferred
• This position requires a strong electrical mechanical aptitude
• Prior experience in manufacturing and plant maintenance is required.
• Knowledge of Industrial production and utility equipment operation is preferred.
• Strong communication skills
