We’re looking for experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team on one of our mining sites to support our MRM team. This is a Permanent 14 on 14 off role.

  • What you’ll be doing:  

As a Maintenance Planner at Hastings Deering, you will:

  • Plan scheduled maintenance on all machines and equipment assigned to the role
  • Be responsible for the creation of all parts lists and resource allocation and complete work orders 
  • Review the defect list and planning the repairs of these defects at the optimal time
  • Manage and track all planning requirements for service letters, defect sheets, SOS actions, parts and resource requirements
  • Process control management and site based development of processes; work order process, warranty handling process, warranty parts return and control
  • Maintain up to date and accurate bills of material associated to planned events

What you’ll need:  

A successful teammate will have experience in: 

  • Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or related discipline 
  • Minimum two years’ experience supervising a team in providing technical solutions 
  • Dedicated commitment to health and safety
  • High level of initiative, reliability and ability to work independently
  • A customer driven focus and demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
  • A strong adherence to quality control
  • Knowledge of SAP will be highly regarded
