We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to sit within the European Maintenance Team, based in our Stockholm office. You will be reporting to the EU Maintenance Manager, working closely with internal departments including Store Operations, Facilities, and Office teams, as well as external suppliers and vendors at both a local and European level. You will take ownership of all store and office locations across Sweden and Denmark, ensuring maintenance standards are delivered consistently across the market. As this role requires collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, strong communication skills and fluency in Swedish and English are essential.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves being out in stores, solving problems quickly, and making a real impact on the daily experience of our teams and customers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and operational excellence of our stores and offices, directly supporting the European Maintenance Manager and the COO for the region. Together, you’ll help deliver high service standards and timely maintenance interventions, always with the mission of supporting our store teams and creating an exceptional environment for both customers and employees. 

What you will be responsible for: 

• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance across stores and Head Office.
• Conduct regular store visits to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks when required.
• Resolve maintenance issues quickly and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and optimise Service Channel and Coupa, including supplier onboarding.
• Manage maintenance budgets and support cost control initiatives.
• Oversee relationships with maintenance suppliers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with inspections, regulatory requirements, and corrective actions.
• Act as the main contact for insurance claims, landlords, tenants, and contractors.
• Lead supplier tenders to drive savings and improve service quality.
• Build strong partnerships with stores, Head Office teams, and external providers.
• Support additional maintenance-related projects and responsibilities as required.

Skills, Experience and Attributes:  

• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a maintenance department, ideally within the retail or hospitality
• Fluent in Swedish and English are essential to this role 
• Air-conditioning and electrician certifications are a strong advantage
• Able to travel to store locations across Scandinavia on a weekly basis 
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and respond to urgent issues
• Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Strong stakeholder management skills across stores, suppliers, and internal teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and maintenance management software
