Lubrication Technician
Decatur, IL
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Lubrication Technician at Primient will be responsible for lubrication routines related to processing equipment and building infrastructure used in the facility for daily production. Lubrication Technicians will be involved in progressive, proactive maintenance that eliminates lubrication reliability downtime. This position requires close work with mechanics to troubleshoot machine problems that might be lubrication related. Technicians will also need to understand lubrication fundamentals, proper storage, handling, and contamination control.
As a Lubrication Technician at Primient, you will be required to:
Navigate through an app-based lubrication routine map (LUBE-IT), including task issue & completion.
Use tools and equipment for routine and non-routine lubrication functions.
Drain, clean, and flush equipment reservoirs.
Grease and relubricate with manual and automatic dispensing equipment.
Maintain manual and automated dispensing equipment.
Conduct oil samples and review oil sample reports as part of an equipment condition monitoring program.
Maintain lubrication and grease lines, including inspection and repairing of the damaged or leaking lines and fittings.
Maintain lubrication cabinets, tools, and equipment.
Create SAP Notifications for Report in writing any discrepancies or conditions that require corrective, predictive or planned maintenance for production systems.
Work with the reliability team and process mechanical team on ad-hoc projects.
Perform other routine or preventative maintenance work as required.
Perform assigned work orders and account for inventory and labor on a computerized maintenance management system (SAP).

Maintain all lubrication systems, hydraulic units, and oil storage/dispensing systems as per targeted ISO cleanliness codes.
Assist with managing inventory of filters and repairs consumables.
Install, operate and maintain external filtration lube units and maintain their consumables.
Perform temperature monitoring of equipment on a demand basis.
Starting pay $32.51 / hr.

ABOUT YOU
Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
Physical proof required if the background check in unable to be verified.
Demonstrate basic math, reading, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with limited supervision and minimal direction.
