Sentara Medical Group- Family Medicine First Colonial Clinic is hiring a Full-Time License Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our outstanding team in Virginia Beach, VA. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate, patient-focused LPN who thrives in a fast-paced primary care environment. As a valued member of our care team, you will work alongside providers and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care, support clinical operations, and help patients achieve their best health outcomes.

This position offers Up to $8,000 Sign-On Bonus for Qualified LPN Candidates!

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Overview

Responsible for assisting doctors and registered nurses to provide direct patient care in a clinical or physician practice setting. Compiles patient health information, takes vital signs, administers medication, draws blood and performs simple diagnostic tests. May direct the work of nursing assistants and aides.

Experience:

• One (1) to two (2) years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in an ambulatory or outpatient environment.

• New graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing program are encouraged to apply.

 

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program is required

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience in a physicians practice, ambulatory, or outpatient setting is preferred.

 

Certification/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification is required

• Current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Nursing License is required

• Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN examination is required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $26.10 - $38.70 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
