This position reports to:
Procurement Manager__
Your role and responsibilities.
In this role, you will Maintain regular contact with forwarders to ensure timely shipment coordination and issue resolution. Follow up on Cargo X procedures and document management via Nafeza system by suppliers. Follow up with brokers on retention of samples in Scales Authority and NTRA compliance
Monitor and manage the clearance process from Form 4 issuance through final cargo clearance from customs
The work model for the role is: Onsite
This role is contributing to the ELDS / SWG Business line in Egypt.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
- Ensuring daily contact with forwarders and Clearing Agents.
- Experience in logistics operations with knowledge of customs procedures.
- Proficiency in Cargo X system and Nafeza platform.
- Knowledge of Egyptian customs regulations (NTRA, Scales and stamping Authorities).
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- You have 5+ years of experience in Logistics and customs Clearance activities.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in SAP / Power PI.
- You are captivated by Communication skills and Time managment.
- Bachelor's degree in: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or similar
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
