Requirements
Interlaced is looking to hire a full-time Logistics Coordinator in the San Diego area. This position requires knowledge of common business technologies and experience working in diverse technical environments as well as with various cloud infrastructure components.
The candidate we are looking for has a technical skill-set, and stays up to date with the latest technology trends. The ability to quickly incorporate new techniques and processes is a must. The candidate must be personable and have the ability to interact with each level of the client's business, from the front desk to the CEO. The ability to simplify complex technical solutions and convey them to end users is a requisite.
The Logistics Coordinator will assist the Interlaced Fleet Team and its clients by maintaining our asset management accuracy, procuring IT-related hardware. Prospects for the Logistics Coordinator role should be technically literate, friendly people that are adept at tackling various client requests with timely fulfillment. All teammates are expected to operate by the Interlaced core values.
This role is a hybrid position, with the opportunity for 1 remote day per week depending on current workload. The candidate is expected to have a dedicated working environment/home office with stable internet connection. This position is from the hours of 7am - 4pm Pacific Time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
General day-to-day responsibilities:
- Facilitate white-glove device provisioning, including app installation and packaging to Interlaced's visual standards
- Maintain accurate serial number, asset tag, and location data across client fleets and sellable stock by performing physical counts and auditing MDM/RMM records for deployed devices
- Manage shipping and receiving of devices and IT-adjacent hardware
- Communicate internally and externally via calls, email, and instant messaging regarding hardware, procurement, and inventory questions
- Own device retrieval workflows, from prepaid shipping labels to processing returned devices
- Assess, wipe, and image received workstations; recommend redeploy, repair, or retire based on condition
- Manage and escalate ticket queues to maintain SLAs
- Liaise with vendor/carrier support (FedEx, TD SYNNEX, Apple, CSC) to resolve order and shipment issues
- Support end users with fleet-related requests via Zoom, Slack, and email
- Own procurement queue: identify hardware sales opportunities, build quotes, place orders, and communicate details to clients
- Track and reconcile asset lifecycle data (procurement through retirement) to ensure audit-ready inventory records
- Coordinate domestic and international shipment logistics, ensuring customs, insurance, and carrier compliance
- Manage chain-of-custody documentation for devices in transit, storage, and disposition to minimize loss and support compliance
- Conduct device disposition and refresh projects; partner with vendors/recyclers on certified data destruction and e-waste disposal
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points for consumables to prevent fulfillment delays
- Analyze asset utilization reports to identify underused/aging equipment and recommend refresh strategies
- Optimize warehouse organization and workflows to improve pick, pack, and ship efficiency during peak periods
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce turnaround time in provisioning and retrieval workflows
