Role Overview

We are seeking a Paralegal / Support Lawyer to support our Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with 2+ years of paralegal experience gained at a large law firm to work on complex, high-profile disputes and investigations matters. The successful candidate will provide hands-on support across all stages of matter delivery, including document review, bundle preparation, hearing and trial preparation, chronology creation, legal research and general matter management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day paralegal support on litigation, arbitration and investigations matters.
  • Conduct document review exercises and assist with disclosure and evidence management processes.
  • Prepare hearing, trial and arbitration bundles, both electronic and hard copy.
  • Draft and maintain chronologies, witness files and other matter management materials.
  • Assist with trial, hearing and witness interview preparation.
  • Undertake legal research and prepare summaries of findings.
  • Manage and organise matter documentation, including indexing, filing, archiving and data room administration.
  • Review and redact documents using eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with client and matter requirements.
  • Support matter teams on a range of administrative and project-based tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

  • LPC / SQE or (Foreign) Qualified lawyers.
  • 2 years' experience as a Paralegal or Support Lawyer within a large law firm.
  • Experience undertaking general paralegal responsibilities, including document review, bundling, trial and hearing preparation, chronology creation and matter management.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using document review or eDiscovery platforms would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in German and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.

Third-party Provider

Linklaters engages with a third-party provider for the provision of contractor and temporary staff. Therefore, upon acceptance of a temporary role at Linklaters, you will be engaged under a contract for services through our preferred third-party provider. You will not be employed by Linklaters, or have any employment or worker relationship with Linklaters.
