If you are passionate about concerts, sports, or theater, and want to see your skills and experience have a direct impact on a fast growing company, TickPick is the place for you. We are building a lean, high-output engineering team committed to providing the most innovative, transparent, and cost-effective ticket marketplace in the industry.

Who You Are:

We are hiring a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own how TickPick engages customers across email, SMS, and push. You will run the program end to end, from strategy through execution and measurement, with data and engineering support and a strong automation toolset at your disposal. This is a builder’s role for someone who wants to stay close to the craft while shaping the systems behind it, and it is scoped to grow with its results.

What you’ll accomplish in your first year

  • A clear map of our lifecycle: the product messaging, stages, seasonal moments, partnerships, and top events, performers, and categories that should drive what we send.
  • An audited, streamlined journey architecture, with underperforming or overlapping messaging optimized or retired.
  • A CRM segmentation model built with the data team, with standardized company-wide definitions (new, repeat, lapsed, dormant, super-dormant, reactivated) and live reporting on cohort size, value, and migration.
  • A standing test-and-learn agenda producing measurable lifts in revenue and retention.

Responsibilities

Strategy and journeys

  • Own lifecycle strategy and execution across email, SMS, and push, from planning through optimization.
  • Build always-on journeys spanning onboarding, conversion, cross-sell, retention, reactivation, and win-back.
  • Design, present, and ship new campaigns and ad hoc sends that grow sales while protecting customer trust.
  • Optimize cadence, offers, and incentive strategy to lift engagement without driving fatigue or unsubscribes.

Segmentation and personalization

  • Partner with the data team to define and maintain segments and lifecycle stages, with live reporting on cohort size, value, and movement between stages.
  • Drive behavior-based, triggered, and dynamic messaging from first-party data, starting with the highest-volume audiences and working toward the niche.

Platform, deliverability, and data

  • Serve as the in-house owner of the ESP and CRM stack, from configuration and integrations through the data flows that feed it.
  • Protect deliverability and sender reputation, and partner with Product on consent and compliance across email and SMS.

AI and automation

  • Build or co-build tooling that automates journey auditing, segment refresh, content variation, and reporting.
  • Help shape, test, and iterate the automation roadmap as new capabilities become available.

Measurement and reporting

  • Own lifecycle reporting and forecasting, tying the program to revenue and lifetime value and contributing to planning.
  • Contribute to channel measurement strategy with a focus on incrementality.
  • Present performance quarterly and speak to progress and data weekly.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years in CRM, lifecycle, retention, or database marketing, with your tactical depth intact, whether you rose quickly and stayed close to the craft or are a more senior operator returning to hands-on work.
  • Tactical mastery of email, SMS, and push execution, segmentation, and journey building. You get the most out of the tooling yourself.
  • Demonstrated use of AI at a software level. You have built or co-built tools, with a technical partner, a software kit, or on your own, that turn best practices into automated auditing, optimization, and reporting. This is beyond prompting in a chat interface.
  • Strong analytical skills, comfortable with cohort and LTV analysis and turning data into action.
  • A self-directed operator who can carry a function forward with data and engineering support.

Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with an ESP or CRM platform (Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, or similar) and with deliverability and consent compliance.
  • Experience with predictive modeling and segmentation in partnership with a data team.
  • A track record of scaling program output faster than team size.
  • Sports, entertainment, and/or two-sided marketplace experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or the sciences.

Benefits

  • A hybrid in-office approach, enabling remote work a portion of each week
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan Contribution (401k, IRA)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Holidays)
  • Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)
  • Training & Development
  • $100 Monthly Stipend to Attend Live Events
  • Employee Outings
  • Free Lunch & Snacks

About TickPick

Founded in 2011, TickPick is reshaping the secondary event ticket marketplace with its no-fees approach. The company does not charge any fees for buyers, setting it apart from competitive firms that charge steep transaction fees. It also leverages its algorithms to look at the price/value ratio for tickets to offer value grading for buyers so they can get the optimal experience for their money. Users can also bid on tickets in a process that is similar to financial markets where supply and demand creates a more efficient marketplace.

For the last three years, TickPick has been named a Technology Fast 500 award winners, a Deloitte-sponsored award for the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. TickPick also landed on Inc. 5000’s list and Crain's New York Business Fast 50 over that same time period,

Co-CEO's Christopher O'Brien and Brett Goldberg who saw inefficiencies in the ticket marketplace decided to build a more transparent and cost-effective solution that led to them to founding TickPick. For more information, visit www.tickpick.com
