About the Role
Axiom, a global leader in on-demand legal talent, is looking for experienced Commercial Legal Consultants to join our high-caliber legal talent network and work with leading multinational and global organizations.
As a Commercial Legal Consultant, you will provide high-quality, practical legal support on a broad range of commercial matters, partnering closely with business and legal teams to navigate complex transactions, manage risk, and support strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice and strategic guidance on a variety of transactions and business initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop and implement legal strategies that support business priorities.
- Identify and assess legal and commercial risks, and provide pragmatic solutions to effectively manage and mitigate those risks.
- Work closely with business and legal teams to facilitate efficient execution of commercial transactions and support broader organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, ideally within a sophisticated in-house or private practice environment.
- Strong familiarity with a broad range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, intellectual property licensing agreements, software and technology agreements, supply and procurement agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate legal considerations into practical, business-oriented advice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in fast-paced, complex business environments.
