About this Lead SEA & Paid Social (m/f/x) role at Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP · Onsite · Berlin - Germany

As the Lead for SEA and Social Ads, you will drive the paid media vision and strategy across 20+ markets. Responsibilities include strategy development, budgeting, forecasting, and managing campaigns on Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest. You'll drive innovation, meet performance targets and ensure that all activities integrate seamlessly with the brand’s core values while delivering measurable business impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute our paid media strategy across Google/Bing Ads and key social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), driving an omni-channel experience that connects our web shop, app, and physical stores.

  • Stay ahead of digital trends, bringing fresh tools and approaches into paid media.

  • Report results clearly, identify growth opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Leverage data insights and automation to sharpen campaign strategy and execution.

  • Work closely with creative teams to deliver localized, platform-tailored assets that connect with audiences.

  • Plan and optimize prospecting and retargeting campaigns with a sharp focus on KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CPA, CPM).

  • Lead a small in-house team and guide agency partners, building expertise and collaboration.

  • Take ownership of campaigns end-to-end, embedding a culture of testing, learning, and optimization.

Your Profile

  • Several years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with a strong track record in paid social and paid search.

  • Genuine connection to subcultures like electronic music, hip-hop, skateboarding, streetwear, or art; excellent English required (German a plus).

  • Proven ability to manage large budgets across media platforms.

  • Skilled in product feeds, automation and MMM tools, alongside advanced use of Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, Excel, and Google Analytics.

  • Deep understanding of performance marketing metrics and optimization techniques, paired with a data-driven mindset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thriving in fast-moving, agile environments.

  • Confident communicator with experience mentoring team members and leading cross-functional projects to completion.

  • Passion for technology, testing, and innovation — with a collaborative approach across departments.

About Carhartt WIP

Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals. Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past three decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.
