About this Lead Network DevOps Engineer role at LSEG

LSEG · Onsite · IND-Bangalore-A, RMZ Infinity

DevOps Engineer – Network Product Services

We’re excited to welcome new DevOps Engineers to our Network Product Services team! In this role, you’ll help shape, build, and support the platforms that power our network automation products. We work closely across engineering, architecture, SRE, operations, and security, and we’re committed to creating systems that are reliable, scalable, secure—and increasingly intelligent through agentic workflows and AI-driven automation.

You’ll make a meaningful impact by contributing to our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and operational reliability, while also helping us advance automated incident response, intelligent triage, and self‑healing capabilities.

What You’ll Do

CI/CD & Automation

You’ll design and maintain modern CI/CD pipelines that streamline how we build, test, and deploy network automation products. You’ll work with tools like Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and CloudFormation to express infrastructure as code, automate provisioning, and improve the overall deployment experience. We value engineers who continually push automation forward and reduce manual work wherever possible.

Cloud Infrastructure & Operations

You’ll manage and optimize cloud environments across Azure, AWS, or GCP, and support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes and Docker. You’ll enhance observability with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, and you’ll partner with our security teams to maintain strong security practices across all layers of our stack.

Network Operations & Support

Our network automation products depend on strong infrastructure, and you’ll play a key role in supporting and improving those systems. You’ll help diagnose and resolve issues tied to networking fundamentals and infrastructure interactions, contribute to runbooks and SOPs, and take part in our on‑call rotation to support 24x7 production environments. We learn from every incident—and you’ll help us implement fixes and preventive measures.

Teamwork & Continuous Improvement

We believe great products come from great collaboration! You’ll work directly with software engineers, SREs, and operations teams to integrate features, improve reliability, and iterate quickly. We participate in Agile ceremonies, reflect openly, and constantly look for ways to improve how we operate. We stay curious and keep up with emerging DevOps trends, tools, and automation technologies.

What You Bring

Required

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar role
  • Strong background with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
  • Solid understanding of Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Programming/scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar
  • Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing)
  • Ability to participate in an on‑call rotation
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team environment

Preferred

  • Experience designing agentic workflows or AI‑driven automation
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and prompt engineering
  • Knowledge of agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, MCP)
  • Understanding of RAG patterns and vector databases
  • Experience with network automation tooling
  • Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or the ELK stack
  • Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (Azure, AWS, CKA, DevOps certs)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Understanding of compliance or regulated industries

Who We Are

We care deeply about building reliable, inclusive, and innovative systems. We believe in automation that empowers teams, collaboration that strengthens outcomes, and technology that adapts to the future of networking. We’re passionate about learning, improving, and making an impact together!

Equal Opportunity & Accessibility

We are an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to fostering a workplace where everyone feels supported and included. If you need accommodations during the application or interview process, we’re happy to provide them—just let us know.
