As an SEL University Lead Instructional Designer, a typical day might include:

• Auditing training content and proposing a strategic learning path that students can progress through.
• Outlining and storyboarding a multi-day instructor-led training with subject matter experts.
• Creating interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Collaborating with video producers to create sophisticated animations.
• Reviewing learner feedback and evaluation data to find improvement opportunities.
• Partnering with managers to propose a tailored training solution that addresses specific customer needs.
• Exploring and sharing practical ways to integrate AI, microlearning, and emerging learning technologies.

This job might be for you if you have:

• A degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
• A portfolio showcasing sophisticated, effective learning content in a variety of delivery formats.
• More than 7 years of experience developing technical training for diverse audiences and instructors.
• A passion for learning complex topics and turning them into engaging experiences based on adult learning theories.
• A desire to be part of project teams that include creative collaborators as well as technical partners.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay on track while meeting tight deadlines.
• Mastery of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate tools; bonus if you know Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.

Pay Range Data - $88,400 - $132,700 annually

We set starting pay based on job-related factors such as your experience, training, knowledge, and skills. We are looking to fill this position at the Lead Instructional Designer level, and we welcome applicants with a range of experience. Depending on your background, we may consider you for a different level, with compensation aligned accordingly.
